The Confirmation Availability of Funds product allows certified parties to check whether a specified amount is available in a client's current account.
How Does It Work?
Use the Confirmation Availability of Funds API to verify if a specified amount fits within the available funds in the payer's current account. The account holder must provide consent to Rabobank, which can be revoked at any time online.
The API provides access to payment accounts and returns a simple "yes" or "no" response. The request does not result in a reservation of funds.
Who Can Use It?
This product is designed for use by Certified Payment Initiation Service Providers (PISPs) and Card Issuing Service Providers (CISPs).
What Do You Need?
To use the API, you must:
- Be a Certified Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP) or Card Issuing Service Provider (CISP) authorized by a National Competent Authority.
- Use Rabobank's PSD2 enrollment product, which enables certified parties to enroll automatically.
- Obtain explicit consent from the account holder for Rabobank to confirm fund availability.
